I loved the first one(Tanu weds Manu) of the sequel. When I saw trailer of the sequel, I knew it would be another good movie. I always like acting skills of both R Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut. I feel Kangana Ranaut is emerging as a great star and she has capability of becoming the next big superstar of Bollywood. Deepak Dobriyal gets the best lines, Swara Bhaskar (Payal) and Rajendra Gupta don’t have much but are good wherever they are.
We always get to hear “And they lived happily ever after”. That though might not be true always and the movie starts right from there. After fighting with each other Tanu goes back to India and Manu follows him, well, lets not reveal the whole story.
There are some illogical scenes in the movie especially the first fight between Tanu and Manu at the start of the film. This lands Manu in a mental asylum and is almost ridiculous.
Something that’s really cool is getting the same cast for the sequel. They bring the raw feeling that made the first part so refreshing. Dialogue by Himanshu Sharma lift a few scenes and are overall brilliant.
The movie is a treat to watch, in fact I found it better from the original one (personal view).
