I can bet you cannot guess the topic of this movie. You might fall from your chair, so be steady. The movie is about a buffalo and a guy who is accused of assaulting the buffalo sexually and thereby is ordered to marry the victim via Khap Panchayat.
That’s how it starts and that’s a good start, I mean come on, have you ever heard a story like that in India, India who either eat or worship Buffaloes and cows.
This movie is a political satire where it is shown that few people who keeps fighting the battle for the “poor” buffalo don’t even care for its well being and that clearly equates with the situation, we are no better than these people.
But the problem is when you see something like this and feel this will be beyond the ordinary “Hero crashing the whole gunda gang single handedly” mediocre film, you expect a lot from it. Surprise surprise, this one doesn’t live up to that expectation. As the movie moves along, it becomes illogical and unwieldy. Mainly all emotional scenes couldn’t connect in that way.
Worth watching this movie: Nope
