Bangkok is known for its lavish inns and housetop bars. However, the Executive Floors of the Amari Watergate Hotel take the red carpeting treatment to the next level. Being a tourist, I experienced a spectrum of unparalleled and fascinating experiences. At the top of this five-star hotel, we isolated from streets jammed with traffic.

After ten minutes, I arrived at the Amari Watergate Bangkok Hotel. Hotel’s exterior didn’t impress me, but after stepping inside the hotel. I was amazed and impressed. Lobby registration was done, then I went straightly to elevators. Their usual route for hotel check-in. I pressed the elevator button. Wait, it was the 32nd floor. Elevator doors opened with a flash. I got in the elevator and welcomed by the lovely Thai woman in the uniformed suit.

“Welcome to the Amari Hotel, Executive Level. Please, Put your bags down and have a seat…” woman said with a smile.

What’s in my room? Services?

The Executive Rooms measured nearly 40 square meters and equipped with WiFi and 40″ LCD TV. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was enormous and spacious. The bathroom had both, a shower with a separate bathtub and standing shower space. The highlight of the Room -Bedroom with curtains to keep the morning sunlight from coming in, loved it.

It allows many of the luxuries you would expect of a unique suite of its type. A Luxurious suite with cozy king beds, stylish decor, and beautiful bathrooms, a spa, tech-savvy (Wi-Fi), and a spacious hall. Here Amari Hotel offers everything from great Thai massages to facials. For business people conference rooms, a fitness center (GYM) and pool. One can pass the time or relax with other activities, ping-pong table, squash courts, and aerobics studio with free classes.

The View from Top – It’s a privilege to witness high view of the city!

Now Food and Dining!

Amari Watergate has six eateries to choose from, and I managed to try only a few of them. At Thai on four, there are gratifying local meals including spicy salads and mouth-watering stir-fried dishes and homemade ice-cream for dessert. Frankly speaking, I Loved the red Thai curry with Jasmine rice. It was just amazing!

The Spree of Shopping Malls!

The Hotel Amari Watergate is ideally placed to originate shopping sorties. There are six major shopping centers nearby, including Central World, Gaysorn Plaza, MBK and Siam Paragon, all with plenty of stylish labels on offer, as well as Platinum Fashion Mall for street style and accessories and Pratanum Market just outside. One can buy things from street vendors selling clothes, souvenirs, toys, and keepsakes along the way.

Must mention about Pantip Plaza. Technology shopping mall with every gadget and every piece of software you can buy. Yes, anything from A to Z. I was incredibly surprised by vendors over there, and I wish they must be in Bengaluru!

Conclusion!

One of the best hotels that I have the satisfaction of staying in Thailand. The decor was excellent. The room was value-for-money. It was very spacious, and it has almost anything and everything. The facilities of the hotel were top-notched. It was a very pleasant stay with very professional staff. The toilets were spacious, well decorated, well maintained, immaculate and nicely perfumed. The staff is very friendly, most willing to assist you in anything that you need. Many thanks to Amari Watergate for an incredible stay and I will definitively come back next time!
